Achieving that straight, glossy, salon perfect hair can be a difficult thing to achieve for many women. With long, luscious locks are currently all the rage, many women can only achieve that “in” look in their dreams. So, instead of spending endless hours trying out new hair products, and frying the ends of your hair with a straightener, let’s look at some other options that will save you money and time.
Although the revolutionary hair treatments available in salons can be expensive, you’d most likely spend roughly the same amount (if not more) on those aforementioned “new hair products.” Now, with that being said, let’s get into it.
Revolutionary Hair Treatments
There are two popular revolutionary hair straightening treatments that women often opt for and those two treatments would be the Keratin Treatment and a Brazilian Blowout. Both of these treatments aim to smooth your hair by removing the frizz, seal your hairs color, and of course decrease the amount of time you spend doing your hair every day.
Keratin Hair Treatment
While both Keratin and Blow Out treatments begin with a clarifying shampoo that is applied several times, the Keratin treatment uses a different application. Keratin complex is applied to the hair after its towel dried across sections of your hair that have been partially blow dried by your stylist. After the mask is applied, a cap is applied to your head so the product can really penetrate into your hair shaft. Once you sit for roughly 30 to 45 minutes, your hair is then blow dried and straightened. It’s important after you have a Keratin treatment that you keep your hair down and avoid creasing it.
Brazilian Blow Outs
This treatment more often than not is more costly than the Keratin treatment because the application of the product is different. Once your hair is dried with a towel, the salon’s product is applied, and then your hair is blow dried and straightened. After that, your stylist will then rinse your hair, apply a deep conditioning mask and blow dry you one more time.
Regardless of the treatment that you choose, both of them aim to infuse protein into the cuticles of your hair. That infusion of protein not only protects your hair from damage, but also helps to relax and soften that frizzy outer layer.
